June 2026

Dear Members and Friends...

As we move into the summer months, it’s been energising to see so much activity and engagement across our community. This edition of ICHCA Insights brings together a snapshot of the work, events and conversations shaping our shared mission to improve safety and operational excellence across the cargo‑handling world.

We start with a look back at this year’s Safety Village at TOC Europe, which once again drew record interest and demonstrated the value of bringing innovators, practitioners and thought‑leaders together. You’ll also find details of next week’s MIS Safety Series Webinar, where industry experts will share practical insights aimed at reducing harm across the ship‑shore interface.

We are also inviting you to take part in our Strategic Priorities Survey, your feedback genuinely helps guide our direction and ensures our work reflects the needs of the global community we serve. This month’s edition also highlights the latest G2 Ocean Safety Bulletin, offering a timely reminder of the dynamic environments stevedores face every day.

Finally, we share updates on our November 2026 Technical Panel Meeting, AGM and Port Tour, as well as the latest developments from the IMO, where ICHCA continues to represent the cargo‑handling sector as a recognised NGO.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and engagement.

Let’s keep raising standards, together.
