July 2025

Dear Members and Friends...

Welcome to the latest edition.

Heading into July, I’m pleased to share another packed edition of ICHCA Insights, reflecting the collected effort across our industry to keep safety front and centre.

The TT Club Innovation in Safety Award opens for entries on 1 September. Now in its ninth year, the award continues to highlight practical, forward-thinking solutions that make a real impact. Whether you’re a large operator or a small team with a smart idea, I encourage you to get involved.

We also look back at the huge success of the recent TOC Safety Village in Rotterdam, where ICHCA was privileged to join a fantastic line-up of speakers and innovators working to drive safer operations. A big thank you to everyone who contributed.

In this issue you will also find updates on our Severe Risk Dashboard, G2 Ocean’s latest Safety Bulletin, and ways to engage more closely with the IMO, including an upcoming seminar that offers a great introduction to how the organisation works.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and commitment to improving safety across global cargo handling.

Let’s keep raising standards, together.
