2. One week to go to catch the record-breaking ICHCA webinar: Handling and Storing Dangerous Goods in Warehouses

HANDLING AND STORING DANGEROUS GOODS IN WAREHOUSES Programme Cover

Last week ICHCA held its first “Coffee Break” style webinar on Handling and Storing Dangerous Goods in Warehouses, we are delighted to report the webinar was attended by over 100 delegates from around the world.

In the face of increased volumes of dangerous goods transported in sea containers, and the occurrence of major incidents as well as lesser accidents, there is a clear need for guidance on safe storage and handling of dangerous goods in warehouses, including port and terminal facilities.

This seminar takes the new Dangerous Goods Warehousing White Paper as its central pillar. It addresses prime hazards and essential risk management associated with dangerous goods in warehousing. It also provides an overview of the warehouse checklist tool including key elements and suggested use.
